I have watched Thursdays episode of Hannibal and I have found some great things from the writers, and all the hints they are leaving for “us” who know a little thing or two about mental health. Now this gif above is what I will be talking about.  Mental health is a system of chemical deficits, emotional onslaughts, etc. And we can’t see these before they happen, but we can predict then happening before hand. But be can’t change these without destroying regions of the brain. Yes, drug pushers talk about fixing the chemical antecedents that lead to mental health disorders, And Will has been taking aspirin, Helps with the blood flow.  And it’s a fantastical process that CAN do wonders. But, that is not all that will ever help. Your body adjusts and modifies to what it is seeing around it. If Will continue to “Go his job” his mind will eventually go through a psychotic break, this often occurs when a person experiences an episode of acute primary psychosis - generally for the first time, (Hannibal telling Will he does not see anyone) though it may also be after a significant symptom-free period, think if will just was to, I don’t know go into a comma for a long time and then wake up to see and dead body. That would make a Psychotic break. But these can be good for the body if handled with care. Some have suggested that (however disconcerting) if such a break may form if given psychological communication it is a way to heal the brain. (Go crazy till you go sane) opening the way for a less ego-bound and more emotionally grounded sense of personality. Hannibal is pushing will, and manipulating him, to when he does break, he will (Pardon the metaphor) make stained glass instead of shards on the ground. Now we all know Hannibal is a cook… get this here are some ingredients that Hannibal uses and there effects they cause on people.
Aspen: vague fears of unknown origin, apprehension.
Cherry Plum: uncontrolled temper, (desperation, fears losing mind.
Chestnut Bud: slow to learn, repeats mistakes, lacks observation.
Clematis: indifference, dreaminess, lack of interest.
Gentian: depression, negative attitudes, self-doubt.
Gorse: hopelessness, despair, despondency.
Mustard: deep gloom or depression of unknown cause.
Rock Rose: terror, panic, extreme fear.

Now let’s see who did their homework, everyone can go back and watch the episodes and see what Hannibal says is in his food.  Hannibal has been making Will, “Better” by pushing him. Now what are the two most basic requirements for the normal operation of our brain? A sufficient energy supply, and an optimal presence of biochemical involved in transmitting messages. (I will let everyone think on that)
Let’s look at Nervous breakdowns,  *Nervous breakdowns  may share some features of acute stress disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder, in that these each occur in response to an external stressor, and may be marked with sleep disturbance, diminished concentration, and mood liability. However, the symptoms of nervous breakdown do not include the constellation of re-experienced trauma](Wiki*) but a psychotic break does. I know everyone is going to hate me for saying this but Garrett Jacob Hobbs is wills Diamonds in the gum so to say. (Thank you Sherlock) and will stay that way till he is broken OR replaced (creating a footing or save place) with someone more important or someone who is close…  let’s say Will learning Hannibal is the Chesapeake ripper , this could make Will, drown and become permanent crazy, or become sane. Hannibal is in his life now. Hannibal is trying to cure Will before the FBI catches him. So when he is caught, Will can cope. Thus curing his last patient.
(Water and the feeling of being drown is the brain saying its swelling with blood and the blood is boiling, which can, if not treated cause SEIZURES)
